🎃HAPPY HALLOWEEN!🎃
I didn't know what to do this year for Halloween since I wasn't going to any party, so I decided to celebrate by having my go-to breakfast with a little twist.
So I created Bat Oats!
I usually have protein chocolate oats for breakfast, and I thought of making them red but I wasn't able to make that happen, which made me quite sad. But, nonetheless, I was very happy with this recipe and the outcome!
Hope you enjoy it!
INGREDIENTS
(For my portion, feel free to adapt to your needs)
- 40g of rolled oats
- 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder
- 4g of unsweetened cacau
- 4 g chia seeds
- 230ml of water or any plant-based milk
- Fruits of choice ( I love using frozen strawberries and blueberries)
- 2 Oreos
INSTRUCTIONS
- Start by adding all the dry ingredients to a saucepan and mix everything with a whisk until everything becomes well incorporated.
- Add the water ( or milk) gradually while mixing.
- On a stove, bring the oats to a boil and mix for 2 to 8 minutes or until you can see that the oats are cooked.
- Drop the oats into a bowl and decorate with fruit or whatever you want as toppings.
- On the side, cut one oreo in half to create the bat wings.
- After all the toppings, add the two halves and the full oreo on top to create the bat.
- Enjoy!!
