Hello.. Barcelona!

 Hi!

So.. a few weeks ago I went to Barcelona for the weekend with my mother and my aunt. Barcelona is one of the cities that I've already seen but since Brussels was too expensive, we decided to go again and explore some more!  The city is very beautiful and attractive.

On the first day, we went to the Sagrada Familia and to the Picasso Museum, but let me tell you.. the weather was awful! We saw it all! Sun, rain, thunder, even hail! Luckily the worst happened when we were inside visiting, and we were able to walk outside in the middle of the periods of rain.

The next day, Sunday, we spent all day on Montjuic, exploring the greenery, and seeing the magic fountain and all the trails. We also went to the Miró exhibit and went on the teleferic up to the castle.

The third day was spent walking for the entire day! We got out of the metro station at the beginning of the Las Ramblas and walked down the road watching the architecture and both houses that had Gaudi influence. I really liked walking down this road and seeing all the little stores in the middle.

On the last day, we had to go to Parc Güell! I honestly didn't remember a lot apart from the very popular wavy benched up at the exit where the very famous salamander is located.
From there we went on a stroll near the ocean since we had a lot of time to kill before our flight back home.

Before we left, I went to this bubble waffle shop in the middle of the Ramblas called Sweet Gaufre, and i got a bubble waffle with strawberries and Nutella.. so good!!

I really enjoyed these days! It was very relaxing to have these days to explore the city and not care about school.

Have you ever visited?
